Job Summary:

The Operations Support Executive plays a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the smooth functioning of Ghana 4E’s initiatives. This includes managing daily operations, coordinating projects, supporting computer education programs, and contributing to entrepreneurial training efforts. The role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of Ghana 4E’s mission to educate and empower Ghanaian students through technology.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Administration

  • Oversee operations across Ghana 4E’s three key segments: Sales & Service Shop, Computer Repair & Entrepreneurial Training, and Basic Computer Skills Classes.
  • Manage facilities, including liaising with landlords and ensuring a functional and well-maintained workspace.
  • Handle logistics related to shipments, inventory management, purchasing, and expense tracking.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures, ensuring efficiency and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Maintain financial records, including monthly income and expense reports.
  • Participate in networking, business organizations, and promotional activities.

Sales & Service Shop Management

  • Supervise sales of computers and accessories.
  • Accept and oversee computer repairs, ensuring high-quality service and timely completion.
  • Manage product inventory and track sales performance.
  • Coordinate donations of computers to schools.

Educational Support & Training

  • Recruit and qualify students for computer repair and entrepreneurial programs.
  • Teach basic computer repair and monitor students' progress.
  • Mentor students in entrepreneurial skills, encouraging them to develop business acumen.
  • Support the Education Director in technical aspects of computer skills classes, including troubleshooting and software setup.
  • Serve as a substitute teacher when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Background & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, ITC, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in operations management or ITC-related work.
  • Teaching experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing teams, implementing operational strategies, and working in a technology-driven environment.

Technical & Operational Expertise

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social/business platforms.
  • Strong computer troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Ability to use project management software to track operational activities.
