Vacancy: Head of Operations

Job Summary:

The Head of Operations holds a crucial role in overseeing the company's daily operations, ensuring efficient business practices, and implementing strategic plans to support the organization's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the company. Ensure smooth and efficient processes across all departments, including research and development, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and distribution. Implement operational policies, procedures, and systems.
  2. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the MD and executive team to develop and implement the company's strategic goals. Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to ensure the company remains competitive. Identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  3. Financial Oversight: Work with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Optimize operational costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations and standards and other international regulatory bodies. Oversee quality assurance and control processes.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and regulatory agencies.
  6. Innovation and Improvement: Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies. Oversee technology implementation and integration to enhance productivity and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, life sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Extensive experience of 10-15 years in the pharmaceutical & health industry, with a strong background in operations management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large teams and complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
