Vacancy: Head of HR

Job Summary:

The Head of Human Resources (HR) is a senior executive role responsible for leading the HR department, developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. This role involves overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, compliance, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies to support the company’s goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior management to align HR policies and practices with business needs. Provide guidance and leadership to the HR team.
  2. Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent. Develop and implement strategies for talent management, succession planning, and workforce planning. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  3. Employee Relations and Engagement: Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts in a fair and consistent manner. Implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention.
  4. Performance Management: Develop and manage performance appraisal systems to drive high performance. Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management issues. Implement programs to recognize and reward employee achievements.
  5. Compensation and Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards. Conduct regular benchmarking to maintain market competitiveness.
  6. HR Compliance: Ensure the company’s HR policies and practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Keep abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
  7. Organizational Development: Lead initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Implement change management processes as needed. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  8. HR Technology and Analytics: Leverage HR technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Use data and analytics to inform HR strategies and decision-making. Monitor HR metrics and report on HR performance to senior management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in HR management, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and analytics tools.
